Welcome

Reaching out for help is hard. Congratulations on taking this big step. Now, it’s time to get the support you deserve so you can start living the life you’ve always wanted!

What to expect

My practice is fully online, meaning you and your spouse will have the flexibility to meet with me from wherever is most comfortable for you. After a (free) 20-minute phone consultation, we’ll spend the first two to three sessions delving into the issues you both want to address, setting goals you want to achieve, and creating a plan together to achieve those goals in a sustainable, efficient way.

Timeline

Your time and energy are valuable. My aim is to help you, whether individually or with your spouse, accomplish your goals as efficiently as possible so that you two can start living the life you’ve always wanted together outside of the therapy office. With that said, I tend to take a more direct approach to therapy, playing the role of both supporter and guide in your growth process. My clients typically see noticeable improvement after one month of working together, then sustained improvement thereafter, spending an average of 5-25 sessions in therapy.

Pricing

My individual and couples sessions both range from 45 to 55 minutes depending on the stage in our work together and the topics we have planned to cover that day. Individual sessions cost $150, and couples sessions cost $160. While I am not in network with any insurance companies, I do provide a sliding scale payment option for individuals or couples facing financial hardship. Costs shouldn’t be the reason you and your spouse can’t get the help you need. Please reach out with any questions you may have related to my fees.

How I Can Help

I use our time together in our weekly sessions to practice the self-reflection, skills, and mindset you’ll need to flourish outside of the therapy office. After all, the goal of therapy is for you to no longer need it so you can start living your life to the fullest! So, as you are the expert in your own life, I will play a supporting role to provide you with the knowledge, resources, and space you need to clarify your goals, better understand yourself and your spouse, and stay on track toward thriving in your marriage.

My Therapeutic Approach

I take an evidence-based yet holistic approach to helping my clients improve their mental health and relationships. I use methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, the Gottman Method, existential psychotherapy, and mindfulness practices, helping my clients integrate their mental, spiritual, and physical health into our work. After all, as human beings we have bodies, minds, and souls, each of which need special care and attention.

I provide a structured learning environment for my clients to gain the self-understanding, skill, and confidence they need to discover what they truly want and how to get there. While we will spend significant time in self-reflection, I take a practical approach to therapy based on what is fully within our control: our words and actions. This approach is designed to be efficient, with information and skills you can immediately implement in your life after every session to start seeing real changes within the first month of our time together.
